“A place in paradise!” In one of the most beautiful places ever, The Fountaine Inn is a peaceful sanctuary with lots of character. The rooms are modern, spacious and well designed. From Linton it’s a few miles into Threshfield or Grassington. A circular walk of 12 miles takes you into breath taking countryside and to come back to the best food in North Yorkshire
“Gastropub with rooms. A gem in the heart of the Dales” I stayed here for 3 nights with family and friends visiting from the US. We had a fabulous time in this Gastropub with rooms. The rooms are very modern and comfortable with good quality linens etc. The food was gorgeous using local ingredients. Specials board every night and a standard menu. Huge portions but quality not compromised.
“Ideal Pub with Accommodation” Third time stayed at the Fountaines. Doesn’t disappoint. Very helpful, kind and courteous staff. Food is excellent in terms of choice, quality, presentation and reasonably priced. Accommodation comfortable if a bit basic – caters for guest who are keen on walking, or exploring the stunning surrounding countryside. Good selection of beers in the bar.
“Lovely pub in a beautiful setting” Just to be sure, we booked a table. I’m pleased we did, the staff were very attentive, we didn’t have long to wait for our food even though they were busy. The food was lovely, well cooked and very tasty. The wine and beer are very good too. I would recommend a visit, even if just for a drink.
“excellent mid-walk lunch” An excellent stop mid-walk along the Dales Way. Not far from the river and well worth the detour. A beautiful village and a lovely pub. Very friendly and welcoming with excellent food – loved the open fire and cosy bar area. Highly recommended.
